Shadowbox help on my website

Hi, I have a Joomla website and it used to show the images in shadowbox format. It's using YOOeffects plugin to so. However, the images don't come up now that I'm trying to change the images. I also don't know how to make a gallery. Basically what I need is some help from someone who can walk me through (online via skype or by drafting a short bullet pointed text) on how to add images, inline content, etc to my website. I believe there should not be a problem with the code, but if we together come up to this conclusion, we can change the plugin too.
