En cuanto a que crea los snapshot seguramente se deba a algún software de Backup que estas utilizando y en los entornos virtuales el snapshot es la herramienta para ello. hay que analizar el porque no los borra ( posiblemente la falta de espacio no lo deje hacer). Hay algunos métodos para realizar la consolidación sin espacio que podrían funcionar en tu caso. Saludos cordiales.
