I'm seeking a proactive and reliable Shopify developer, preferably from the Philippines, for contract work with the potential to transition to part-time and eventually full-time. My agency, based in Australia, requires someone to join our Slack team to assist with project quoting for our clients. You must be able to respond to inquiries during 9am to 5pm Sydney time, and demonstrate proactive communication skills. Key Requirements: - Please note: This project is not open to agencies. - At the top of your application, include "JCI DIGITAL" to confirm you have read this. Applications without this will be discarded. - Availability to work during Australian (Sydney) AEDT time. - Initially contract work where you will need to quote fixed prices for jobs. - State your hourly rate in AUD. - Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must. - Capability to convert complex designs from Figma to Shopify. - Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations is preferred. - Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce sites. - Knowledge in creating and maintaining responsive designs across devices. - Experience in setting up and customizing payment gateways in Shopify. - Capability to integrate and troubleshoot third-party Shopify apps. - Willingness to provide post-launch support and maintenance. - Strong attention to detail when converting designs to functional sites. - Experience in building custom storefronts from scratch on Shopify. - Experience working collaboratively within a remote team environment.
