seeking a skilled Power BI developer to assist with a pilot project involving the integration of interactive Power BI charts into an ASP.NET AJAX web application written in C#. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, embedding Power BI reports and dashboards, and seamless integration within a web application framework. Knowledge and skillset to integrate GenAI capability to interact with the report once created is a big plus but not a requirement for phase 1 of this pilot Responsibilities: Develop and configure one or two Power BI reports/dashboards for embedding into a web page without need for authentication. Integrate Power BI charts into a sample ASP.NET AJAX web application with authentication via the web application and display charts based on role and access. Ensure charts are interactive and responsive across devices. Implement security features (e.g., Power BI embedded tokens). Collaborate with our development team to troubleshoot and optimize performance. Requirements: Proficiency in Power BI and chart embedding techniques. Strong experience with ASP.NET AJAX and C#. Familiarity with Power BI REST APIs, embedding tokens, and RLS (Row-Level Security). Experience with interactive and responsive web design. Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration. Project Details: Pilot project with potential for long-term collaboration. Deliverables include all related code and setup for functional Power BI chart integration with secure, performant embedding. The project should be completed in less than 1 month. The application must be fully responsive for both desktop and mobile devices.
