It is a hostle mob with 6 hearts but can only be damaged by shears it has a ranged attack where it shoots seeds at you dealing 1 heart and r piercing If it get's low or loses sight of the player it will look for other pumpkins and if it feeds on them, (each pumpkin gives it extra 6 hearts and slightly faster attack speed and slighty more damage per seed)
