Despite a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering I have spent the last 26 Years doing Automation & Control System Engineering. I have worked mainly in manufacturing (including automotive component supply chain) and the resource sector (mainly mining) on projects worth as much as $4BillionAUS. I have also worked on oil & gas, water treatment and municipal waste projects. My skills, knowledge and experience include: PLC/SCADA - Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider and others. Safety Instrumented Systems (TUV Certified) IEC61508/61511/62061 and ISO 13849 Functional Safety Standards Hazardous Area (dust & gas) Assessments, Selection & Design Profibus DP, Profibus PA, CanBus and DeviceNet system design FEED, HAZID, HAZOP & CHAZOP Studies Completions management Robotics, Motor Control, Drive systems, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Conveyor Systems, Crushing Plant, Mineral processing, Burner Management Systems. Component selection at all layers - instrument/sensor, control and actuator.

Started well, he seemed to know what he was talking about. Then he stopped communicating altogether. We got as far as the first milestone and no further, no explanation given despite several unanswered messages from us. What a waste of time!
