I need help with updating my website forms to use the SMTP protocol via PHP Mailer instead of PHP mail. We have two websites with roughly 50 forms across them, mostly identical contact forms. The tasks include:
- Copying and pasting the forms across the pages
- Configuring the forms to use SMTP protocol
- Setting up and configuring an SMTP server as we currently don't have one.
I would prefer to use PHP Mailer as the SMTP service.
I currently don't have the SMTP account credentials ready, so I need assistance with that as well.
Ideal skills and experience would include:
- Proficiency with PHP and PHP Mailer
- Experience with SMTP server setup and configuration
- Ability to replicate and modify forms across a website
- Good communication skills for understanding and implementing project requirements.
