Position Details:
• Role: Yapese Interpreter for Virtual Mental Health Session
• Location: Remote (via Microsoft Teams)
• Responsibilities:
o Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation during a video conference session.
o Facilitate professional communication between the mental health provider and the client.
o Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical interpreting guidelines in sensitive mental health contexts.
o Demonstrate professionalism and empathy throughout the session.
Requirements:
• Fluency in both Yapese and English (spoken and written).
• Previous experience with mental health interpretation is preferred, though not required.
