Although the two worlds of web site design and web programming are separate and not equal, it has been my experience that they are interwoven and interconnected in many ways. To effectively program, the programmer needs to be aware of some design elements and practices. To effectively design, the designer needs to have an awareness of programming requirements, syntax, and browser-related issues. Technically speaking, I am more of a programmer.
