NINJATRADER 8 NT8 CUSTOM INDICATOR SPECIFICATION OBJECTIVE: Develop a custom NT8 indicator that dynamically displays specific bar information in real-time upon price changes. The indicator will display data for the currently forming bar and the previous bar at the middle center of the chart. Initially, the focus will be on implementing and testing the LONG conditions. Once validated, a similar approach will be applied for SHORT conditions. Develop a custom NT8 indicator that dynamically displays specific bar information in real-time upon price changes. The indicator will display data for the currently forming bar and the previous bar at the middle center of the chart. DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS: The information should be displayed at the middle center of the chart. The data should update in real-time as the bar forms. INFORMATION TO DISPLAY OF CURRENTLY FORMING BAR: BID-ASK SPREAD: Display the bid-ask spread. TIME LAG: Display seconds lag. If more than 1 SECOND. ATR14: Display the ATR14 value. BAR TYPE LONG: Categorize the bar type based on provided formulas. HAMMER BAR LONG: If the bar fits the hammer criteria (condition provided), display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". BIG BAR LONG: If (Close - Low) / ATR14 is greater than 1.8, display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". BAR SIZE LONG: Display (Close - Low) in points. FOLLOW-UP BAR LONG: If the LOW is higher or equal to the previous bar's LOW and it is not an inside bar, display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". INSIDE BAR LONG: If the current bar is an inside bar, display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". SWING BAR LONG: If the LOW is lower than the previous bar's LOW, display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". BAR CLOSE ABOVE/BELOW 31% LONG: If the CLOSE of the bar is below 31% of the bar's range, display "YES"; otherwise, display "NO". DOJI BAR LONG: If the bar meets the Doji criteria, display "YES" in RED FONT; otherwise, display "NO". PERFORMANCE: The indicator should be optimized for performance to ensure smooth operation. It should not cause lag or performance issues, even in high-volatility markets. CUSTOMIZATION: The user should be able to adjust the font size and color of the displayed text. DELIVERY & TESTING: The developer should provide the editable .cs file along with installation instructions. The indicator should be tested on various chart types and timeframes to ensure accuracy. A brief user guide should be provided to explain settings and sections. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Ensure that the displayed text does not overlap with other indicators or chart elements.
