Eye Color Simulation System Specification

1. Project Purpose:

The system is designed to allow users to upload their photos and simulate different eye colors based on their selection. The result will be a simulation of the eye color post-surgery, with the ability for the developer to understand my requirements regarding how the colors should look, based on examples I will provide.

2. System Requirements:

2.1 Photo Upload:

Users should be able to upload high-resolution photos with no file size limit (up to 150-200 MB).

The photo must meet high quality standards, including a white background, proper lighting, no shadows on the face, and clear focus on the eyes.

2.2 Photo Quality Check:

The system will automatically check if the uploaded photo meets the quality standards (uniform lighting, no shadows, and sharp focus).

If the photo does not meet the requirements, the system will offer the user an option to book a professional photo session at Kerato Life for 500 ILS.

2.3 Eye Color Simulation Algorithm:

The system will overlay eye color simulations on the uploaded photo.

The simulation should match the result the user will have post-surgery. The system will display semi-transparent, uneven textures to simulate a natural result.

Users will select from a list of predefined colors (e.g., "Blue" with subcategories like "Ocean Blue," "Queen Blue," etc., and "Green" with subcategories like "Jade Green," "Classic Blue," etc.).

I will provide clear examples of how the colors should look on the eyes, so the simulation matches these examples.

2.4 Manual Calibration Option:

There should be a manual adjustment option for fine-tuning the simulation if necessary.

2.5 Dynamic Color Management:

The system must allow administrators to easily add, rename, or remove colors from the list.

New colors can be added by sampling from images or other sources, and they should be integrated into the system with unique branding names (e.g., "Ocean Blue").

2.6 Copyright Protection:

Processed images will include a transparent watermark (Kerato Life logo) across the photo to protect copyright, without significantly impacting the user experience.

2.7 Terms of Use Agreement:

Users must agree to the terms of use before accessing the system, acknowledging its purpose and limitations.

2.8 User-Friendly Interface:

The system should be accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.

A side menu will allow users to easily browse and select eye colors.

2.9 Sharing and Saving Options:

Users will be able to share their results on social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) with the Kerato Life logo included.

There will also be an option to save the simulation results as a downloadable file, with the watermark included.

3. Website Integration:

The system must integrate seamlessly with the existing website, allowing users to access the tool easily.

4. Technology Requirements:

Frontend and backend development.

Advanced image processing (using libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, or similar).

UX/UI design.

Experience with copyright protection methods
