Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Excel specialist to develop a dynamic and automated spreadsheet to monitor the status of a loan contract. The spreadsheet should efficiently track loan payments, calculate interest, and provide a structured yearly overview of the loan’s status, including the available credit line. The final solution must be compatible with both Microsoft Excel for Windows and Microsoft Excel for Mac. Project Requirements: Input Data: Loan start and end date Interest rate (%) Maximum loan amount (credit limit) Loan payment records (date and amount) Core Calculations: Interest calculation for each loan payment Cumulative interest tracking Available credit line (credit limit minus utilized loan amount) Yearly Overview Section: Loan amount on the first and last day of each calendar year Correctly calculated annual interest Available credit line at the end of each year Technical Requirements: The spreadsheet must use formulas and/or VBA automation to ensure accurate and dynamic calculations. Must be fully functional on both Windows and Mac versions of Microsoft Excel without compatibility issues. Data should be structured for easy input and updates. The layout should be clear and user-friendly. The solution must handle different loan durations, interest rates, and varying payment schedules. Ideal Candidate: Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VBA (if needed). Strong understanding of financial calculations, especially loan interest computations. Experience ensuring cross-platform compatibility between Excel for Windows and Excel for Mac. Ability to create well-structured, automated, and user-friendly spreadsheets. Experience in building financial tracking tools is a plus. Deliverables: A fully functional and tested Excel spreadsheet that works on both Windows and Mac versions of Excel.
