Product Manual Update for Refrigerated Display Cases

I'm looking for a professional with experience in technical writing and CAD to help update and write product manuals for our OEM refrigerated display cases used in food retail. Key Responsibilities: - Revising existing content and fixing errors and typos - Writing content for troubleshooting and system turn ons - Adding new sections such as installation guides, maintenance procedures, and warranty information - Using CAD programs to capture meaningful images of our products for the manuals - Creating technical illustrations and diagrams with CAD - Ensuring consistency and standardization of format across all manuals - Maintaining document version control to track changes and ensure all stakeholders are using the most current versions Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in technical writing, particularly for OEM product manuals - Proficiency in CAD programs, particularly SolidWorks - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign - Experience with with Rhino CAD a plus - Excellent command of the English language with strong attention to detail - Experience in writing installation guides, maintenance procedures, and warranty information - Ability to understand and translate technical content into user-friendly language Each manual is expected to be between 50-60 pages. There are about 86 manuals that need to be updated. Interaction with the Product Engineering team will be required to understand troubleshooting directions and best practices. The final manuals should be delivered in PDF format. The project is expected to be completed within 4-6 months. The technical illustrations should be moderately detailed.
