Contest Brief
I'm looking for a skilled illustrator who can create both digital and traditional illustrations for a children's book. The style should be realistic OR cartoon.
Here is a description of the project:
Philly’s Fast Brain!
This book covers the story of Philly, an gender-neutral 3rd grade student, with orange hair. Philly has a “fast brain,” otherwise known as giftedness. This book goes over the child’s struggles, and difficulties. This picture book is intended for gifted children, and their parents, to learn more about giftedness, and self-accommodation. If you win the contest, you will be making 28 illustrations for the book.
Please note that, I will reject your entry, if you do not have experience illustrating children’s books. I also require a high level of English fluency. If you do not have these skills, in your portfolio, please leave a comment explaining how you meet the description.
A preference for people with experience in childcare, education, parenting, or psychology.

Hi there, could you let me know how many illustrations you’re looking for? I’m assuming the contest is meant to showcase rough concepts and give an idea of our style, with the actual book design work starting after the contest. Will the price mentioned in the contest cover the full scope of that work?
I’m really excited about this project! I have a strong background in illustration and am fluent in English (I live in England). Plus, I’m Italian, so I can also communicate in Italian—just thought I’d mention it since I saw you’re from Italy (haha, I know it’s not a requirement, but still!).
