Hi there!
My name is Bence, and I've been working full time as a data operations analyst for three years, with a special focus on streamlining and automating our processes. As most great businesses, the company I work for also runs on Excel, so the automations I work on often involved Macros and I'm somewhat of an expert in all things related to Excel.
I've created countless of VBA projects from simple ones, like scraping websites and APIs for information, to more complex ones, like automating semi-finished and raw material setups in SAP.
I usually focus pretty heavily on optimizing my code, and hence became really good at writing code that executes as fast as possible. I tested and timed countless of data transformation methods in VBA, and learned what the most efficient data structures are, what non native functions to avoid, etc. This allowed me for example to create a report with 100's of thousands of rows, while doing all sorts of filtering, lookups, transformations, and still execute in just a few seconds (in most cases this was closer to a second)
I'm also practised in creating documentation for these projects, as this has been a requirement for most of my projects at my full time job. This involves job aids, guides, flowcharts, etc.
I'm sure I can provide you with a solution that will fit your needs.
If you have any questions about my experience or how I can help with your project, don’t hesitate to reach out - I’d love to chat and get started!
Regards,
Bence
