I graduated as the second-best student in Petroleum Reservoirs Engineering for my bachelor's degree and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science in Italy. Through my courses, I have gained a strong foundation in the design and implementation of data-driven processes that extract knowledge from data and support decision-making. These courses introduced me to the data science process, the data mining and machine learning algorithms commonly used to analyze large and heterogeneous data, as well as programming languages such as Python and R, and state-of-the-art data mining and machine learning libraries. During my studies, I applied my knowledge to four important and successful projects, which received the attention of my professors. Additionally, since some of these projects were completed with a group of colleagues, I gained experience in team collaboration. Currently, I am spending my last semester of the Data Science program as an exchange student in Norway, where I am gaining knowledge related to Deep Learning, Optimization for Data Science, Economics, and working on a project analyzing health data to predict the number of people in Trondheim, Norway who will require help from nursing homes and caring centers. This project will assist policymakers in being better prepared for the future needs of the residents. kevesebb
