As we scale, we need a highly skilled Photoshop expert who can efficiently produce multiple variations of character features—hair, eyes, skin tone—while maintaining top-tier quality and consistency.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for developing and executing a streamlined, non-destructive editing process to achieve consistent character customizations at scale. Your workflow will involve organizing extensive layer structures, applying color presets, batch processing, and refining features to ensure each image looks natural and cohesive. You’ll collaborate with the content creation team to establish best practices, maintain a robust file management system, and troubleshoot any design bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Volume Editing: Transform baseline character illustrations by changing hair color, eye color, and skin tone accurately and efficiently.

Layer Management & Organization: Set up and maintain a meticulously organized layer structure and file naming convention for rapid production.

Non-Destructive Editing: Utilize Adjustment Layers, Smart Objects, and Presets to ensure edits are scalable, consistent, and easily modifiable.

Batch Processing & Automation: Create and refine Photoshop Actions, Presets, and Scripts to apply changes across multiple images with minimal manual intervention.

Quality Control: Check images at pixel-level detail for realism, consistent lighting, and minimal artifacts.

Process Improvement: Regularly refine the workflow for speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Provide guidance on tools, plug-ins, or scripts that enhance productivity.

Collaboration: Work closely with the creative and production teams, communicating timelines, challenges, and suggestions to improve output quality.

Qualifications:

Technical Mastery: Expert-level Photoshop skills with extensive experience in Adjustment Layers, Masks, Smart Objects, and Batch Processing.

Organizational Skills: Proven track record of managing large volumes of layered files, with exceptional attention to detail in file organization and naming conventions.

Consistency & Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to maintain uniform quality across hundreds of images.

Problem-Solving Ability: Adept at troubleshooting unexpected issues, such as color inconsistencies, pixelation, or lighting mismatches.

Efficiency-Focused: Experience implementing scripts, actions, or other automation techniques to streamline the editing process.

Portfolio & References: Strong portfolio showcasing similar high-volume editing projects, along with client references if available.

The expected turnaround time for each project or batch of images is daily. The customizations must maintain a cartoonish artistic style.
