Hello, I have a pcb with ESP32 S3 that has bluetooth capabilities. The bluetooth is acting as a server and receives connections from an iOS app and from another ESP32 S3 configured as client. Code is written in Arduino IDE. My problem is, I do not seem to have BLE 5.0 range results, the range is similar to BLE 4.0, which is around 5-10 meters. I have been doing some digging and it seems ESP32 S3 with BLE 5 has 3 types of PHYs (physical layers): 1M, 2M and Coded PHY. As far as I read, default is 1M? (which is BLE 4 range basically). My goal is to adapt my code in order to support 2M PHY (100m range or so) or even Coded PHY (500-1000m), so the BLE connection can work at more than 5-10 meters. Thank you! Marius

The data can be sent as an attached file as saved to the SD card, or in JSON format as the message body. We are capable of modifying the web service according to the format of the data sent in collaboration. An example file and the current code are attached. Converting the date format in the file to yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss is a nice to have.

I’m only looking for few hours of consultancy. My issue is with my custom board with RN2483. As you said im using ESp32 over UART and using a very simple example to get started. The issue is when I connect esp32 with RN2483 dev board im able to transmit packets of 96 bytes successfully however when I use my custom rn2483 board im able to send only 4 5 packets.
