Arrange a 90 sec rock/metal/electronic song fragment

竞赛简介

I need a demo arrangement for my song "Too Late". Just the first verse and chorus.

I've prepared

* a 90 sec demo of the song (vox+piano mp3)
* the chord progression (piano mp3 and midi)
* vocals recorded in studio (wav)
* lyrics

Arrangement requirements:

1. Chords
* DO NOT add the piano mp3 to the mix.
* Use the exact chords from the midi.
* Note that my midi performance doesn't have perfect tempo and dynamics; also there's no rhythm, just plain whole notes. Copy-paste the chords, but don't use my performance.
* The piano demo is not the rhythm that I intend the song to have - it's merely the chord progression. You are absolutely free in the rhythmic decisions.
* The song DOESN'T HAVE to have piano in the mix! Again, it's just the chord progression.

2. Genre / Sound

For you reference, my favorite artists are Alter Bridge, Disturbed, Shinedown, Metallica, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, In Flames, SOAD, 30 Seconds To Mars.

I also love drum-n-bass artists like London Elektricity, Holly Drummond, Maduk, Feint.

Most importantly I'm looking for producers with their own sound and vision. Don't try to make it sound like Godsmack or Metallica. Make the song work, make it your own. Make sure you're happy with the result and that it satisfies your own creative ambitions.

The arrangement may be heavy or light, fast or slow - anything that you feel works best.

3. Instruments and effects

Use any instruments you like, live or VST. Use any effects, including on the voice.

DO or DO NOT use piano - I have no preference towards it. I just used the piano to show you the chords.

4. Tempo and rythm

* The BPM is 110. Use any rythmic patterns that you think will work best.
* Time signature: keep it simple and not too "progressive" please - 2/2 or 4/4 :)
* As said above: the piano demo is not the rhythm that I intend the song to have - it's merely the chord progression. You are absolutely free in the rhythmic decisions.
* DO NOT shift or stretch the vox track to match other instruments.

5. Editing - IMPORTANT

* DO NOT SHIFT THE VOCALS LEFT OR RIGHT. DO NOT STRETCH THEM. I have a video recorded and it will need to match the arrangement, so do not shift or stretch the vox. Any other effects like delay/reverb/compression/EQ/Autotune are fine.
* Leave the first 2 bars untouched. The song starts at bar 3. First 2 bars will help me sync with the video. Keep the first 2 bars of vox track untouched and DO NOT add any music in first 2 bars.

6. Your submission

For a contest entry send an mp3.

The winner(s) will send:
* A final mix WAV
* Each track separately, without effects, as WAV
* Each track separately, with effects, as WAV
* For VST (not live) tracks - the midi of the track with VST name in the filename

    I can't thank you all enough for all your super creative effort. You are all incredible producers and I spend 4 hours listening to all these entries on repeat. I could totally see each of them as a great final choice appropriate in particular context. Congrats to Daniel - his work resonated most with me.
