I am seeking a skilled and experienced web developer/designer to create a professional e-commerce website with advanced features and functionality. The website will need a visually appealing design, a fully operational shopping system, and customisation options for products (e.g., colours, sizes, and other variables).
Key Responsibilities:
Landing Page Design:
Create a modern, responsive, and visually appealing landing page to engage visitors.
Ensure clean navigation and seamless access to all sections of the website.
E-commerce System:
Develop a fully functional shopping cart with secure checkout processes.
Integrate multiple payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, etc.) for customer convenience. (The items will be shipped, so they are NOT DIGITAL DOWNLOADS, THEY ARE REAL ITEMS WE ARE SELLING)
Include features for managing discounts, promotions, and vouchers.
Product Customisation Features:
Implement dynamic product customisation tools.
Allow customers to select size, colour, material, and other attributes easily.
Provide live price updates based on customer selections.
Content Management System (CMS):
Include a user-friendly admin dashboard to manage products, orders, and content.
Provide the ability to upload images, manage stock, and set product attributes.
SEO & Performance Optimisation:
Optimise the website for fast loading times and mobile responsiveness.
Implement on-page SEO best practices for better search engine visibility.
Additional Features:
Include customer reviews and ratings for products.
Provide multi-language and multi-currency support if required.
Add email notifications for order confirmations and shipping updates.
Security:
Implement robust security measures to protect customer data and prevent breaches.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in e-commerce website development.
