To be honest, I don't think a poem can be translated into another language without losing some flavor. I'm a native Chinese speaker and a translator with ten years of professional experience. And I'm interested in this project. If given the chance to translate it, I will do my best to maintain the tropes and metaphors of the poem. That said, I'm not a poet myself, and I'm quite ignorant about rhythm and meter in classic English poetry. So the translation will be faithful to the original and readable to English speaking readers but can hardly be called a true poem in the eyes of an expert. To give you an idea of what I can do at most, here's my translation for the first stanza: Mt.
