I need a skilled developer to help me optimize and improve a React Native mobile app that controls a smart device (an ESP32 with a speaker). The app connects to the device via BLE and then over WiFi. It plays audio at scheduled intervals, responds to manual triggers, and can play either on the phone, the device, or both depending on user selection in settings Already implemented: - Sign in/Login firebase auth - Homepage - Settings page - Device page (once device is connected to show now playing audio, and controls for pause/play/volume) Key Features: - Scheduled audio playback on device speaker, and on mobile as notification - Manual trigger audio playback - Communication with the ESP32 device (play/pause/mute/volume) - Bug fixes and code optimization for performance, UI consistency, and responsive design - Troubleshooting of the audio player - Widget! - BLE Connection from app to device which then prompts wifi connection, then establishes communication over a server Device Control: - Play/Pause control - Mute/Unmute control - Volume control Required Skills: - Proficiency in React Native - Experience with IoT and ESP32 devices - Strong understanding of Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity - Previous work with audio playback apps and smart device apps The goal of the project is to enhance the current app for better performance and user experience as well as fixing any bugs with audio playback, and device-app communication
