This was done by using: 1)LinkedIn to located employees of different food products suppliers/shippers and message them 2)Microsoft Outlook to email these different individuals 3)Microsoft Excel to track shipper information on a spreadsheet, including business name, email, website, location and phone number and 4)Google search to do research on these businesses.
I also built a database of businesses on Excel and contacted them by phone to inquire if they were interested in services offered by our trucking company. I was able to find interested clients to whom we could share our services, but provide value as well by asking them questions. As demonstrated through my work with Waves Trucking Ltd., I am well-versed in utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Google Search to track contacts, conduct research and establish valuable connections.
