We have completed the initial setup of an IoT project using EMQX open-source on an Ubuntu 24.04 server instance. Below is the work completed so far: 1- Server Setup: Ubuntu Server 24.04 instance created on AWS. EMQX installed and configured via SSH. Elastic IP and firewall security groups added. 2- Device Configuration: ESP8266 wireless temperature and humidity controller connected. Readings verified through MQTT Explorer. 3- Webhook Integration: A webhook added to EMQX to forward temperature and humidity data to InfluxDB. 4- Problem: Attempted to connect InfluxDB with Grafana to visualize the data. However, InfluxDB returned a 404 error when trying to store or query data. 5- Objective: We need an experienced IoT developer to help: Debug and fix the InfluxDB connection issue. Set up and configure InfluxDB to store temperature and humidity data. Integrate Grafana with InfluxDB to create a user-friendly dashboard for real-time data visualization. Provide documentation of the integration process. 6- Deliverables A fully functional data pipeline where EMQX forwards IoT data to InfluxDB. Grafana dashboard displaying real-time temperature and humidity readings.
