As a collections agent at Unicomer Jamaica Ltd where I spent the last 9 years my main duties included contacting customers to inform them of their overdue payments, I advised customers of their payment options and suggested new methods of payments, negotiated suitable payment arrangements and followed up on broken payment arrangements, updated customer payment information and maintained records of each conversation. Prior to my role as a Collections Agent I was employed through the BPO sector as a Customer Service Representative providing customer service support to both Amazon.com and Flow Jamaica Ltd customers. My duties in this role were to answer incoming calls to assist with queries, issues, feedback, and concerns customer had about the products and services offered through these companies. I also maintained and updated customers interactions and assisted the kindle department in troubleshooting the kindle devices over the phone.
