Freelance Contest Brief: Updated Menu Design for Bottoms Up Bar, Puerto Peñasco, Mexico**
**Project Overview:**
We are Bottoms Up Yacht Club, a vibrant beachy Bar in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, with a laid-back dive bar vibe. We’re looking to upgrade our food menu to align with our updated branding and meet local government requirements. The menu needs to be eye-catching, functional, and available in both English and Spanish.
**Requirements:**
1. **Design Style:**
- Reflect a local, beachy, bar aesthetic.
- Incorporate our updated high-resolution logo (attached).
- Ensure the design is easy to read and follows a Z-pattern layout for optimal readability.
-Letter size: 11 × 8.5
2. **Menu Format:**
- Front-and-back design (similar to the current menu attached).
- Include all current menu items and their ingredients.
- Add space for future edits and new items.
3. **Additions to the Menu:**
- Add "10 pesos for an extra side of sauce" and "40 pesos for protein powder added to smoothies."
- Include grams of protein for each dish (Google averages, and we’ll refine later).
- Include the pesos-to-dollar conversion rate at the bottom: "$17 MX = $1 USD."
- Add a QR code linking to our Facebook page for daily specials and events.

4. **Compliance:**
- Create two separate versions of the menu: one in English and one in Spanish (use Google Translate for initial translation; we’ll handle final edits).
- Ensure compliance with the Mexican government’s requirement to list grams of protein per dish.
5. **Technical Requirements:**
- Remove the "Favorite Cook Shack" logo from the design.
- Maintain pricing in pesos as listed.
- Create the menu in Canva, ensuring it’s fully editable for future updates.
