Meeting Support and Moderation

I need a skilled lawyer to assist during my meeting with the state can be via zoom. The ideal candidate will be able to:

- Object to irrelevant points

- Enforce ADA compliance

- Steer the conversation to keep on topic

- Address unfounded claims

Experience in a similar role and understanding of ADA compliance is a must. Understanding Michigan state rules around guardianship and not allowing gender, age or ADA issues to impact said guardianship is the point of the meeting. Basically, the state did not meet with, nor speak nor request records before discounting the only family member willing to watch/care for his brothers. They discounted his age (22, so adult), they discounted his gender( illegal) and his disability which is high functioning and well managed. All medical professionals with history of working with him believe he is more than capable. He has previous experience caring for them and is the only care giver the brothers trust. No medical professionals were contacted to substantiate his competency the state just discounted him based on his label. He filed a complaint and now a meeting is being held to supposedly re-examine the issue so legal help is essential for his side. He does not want his brothers in foster care.
