I need a skilled React Native developer to integrate Google Navigation SDK into my existing app. The goal is to create a map screen that allows users to:
- Search for places
- View markers
- Get directions
- show fuel stations
- show parking lots
Once a user selects a location, the app should display navigation directions. The app must also include real-time traffic updates.
The ideal candidate for this project should have:
- Extensive experience with React Native
- Proficiency in integrating Google Navigation SDK
- Ability to implement real-time traffic updates
- Skills in creating interactive user interfaces
User interactions on the map will include:
- Tapping to select a place
- Long pressing to add a marker
- Dragging and dropping to reposition a marker
- Pinching to zoom in or out on the map
- Using two fingers to rotate the map
- Using two fingers to tilt the map
- Double tapping to zoom in on the map
- Long-pressing to save a location as a favorite
- Toggling a button to show/hide traffic layers
- Pressing a button to center the map on the user's current location
- Using custom icons for different types of markers
- Swiping up on a marker to display more details
- Tapping a marker to show detailed information
A keen eye for UX/UI design and experience in creating user-friendly interactive maps will be an advantage. Please include examples of similar projects you've completed in your bid.
The app should always request user location permissions when the map screen is opened.
