Summary:
The current JAC web site needs a complete re-design / overhaul. Including a completely new ADMIN panel that controls every feature and all content pages of the web site. The functionality of the web site is great and is working perfectly. There are some features that I would like to remove from the functionality and some that I would like to improve. The main issues that I would like to focus on are the platform, design, and security of the web site. The current design is terrible and outdated. The security of the web site is bad and vulnerable to hackers, spam, and attacks. Below is a complete outline of the scope of work I am looking for. I also want to find a trusted, talented, affordable developer that is reliable. If I find a developer that I am comfortable with, they will receive more work in the future.
Main Updates:
• Consider a new platform but if developer recommends staying with current platform, I am OK with that.
• More organized / structured coding so any developer can easily make updates to the web sites code.
• Add new logo where applicable (I will supply the new logo files).
• New web site design. Current design looks outdated. Would like to stick to the logo colors but want a more professional and modern design.
• Improved imaging for items. The way the members images are currently displayed are terrible. I want the imaging to display nicely like eBay. I want to be able to see the members images they post and do not want the images to be cut off, etc.
• Remove the redeem points feature. Currently, points are rewarded to members when they make successful transactions. I would like to totally remove this feature from the functionality. The reason is there is no way to prevent a bad member from creating fake transactions and getting free credits. Unfortunately, the only option is to remove this feature.
• The sell credit feature needs improved. That can be done later in the process. Need to think that through may need some help with this.
• Totally re-do the order history and credit history page. Would need help with this too. Not sure how to really display this. I do not want it complicated but want to have a history of every members transaction. One page instead of two.
• Remove the forum from my web site. The current forum is horrible, and needs removed. I decided not to have a forum.
To Developer:
• Developer must agree to my milestones and understand that I will always have the option to cancel the project at any time.
1. Milestone # 1
25% of TCOP (total cost of project) to start work. This is guaranteed to the developer regardless if I cancel project at any time.
2. Milestone # 2A
10% of TCOP. This is also guaranteed to the developer regardless if I cancel project at any time. This would be determined when about 25% of the work has been completed, I will need to see the progress and if the developer is on the right track. I would need to see a visual of the web design. It is at this point where I would decide to proceed with the project or cancel the project. If I cancel project no more milestones would be awarded, and the developer will then receive milestone # 2A. So even though project got canceled developer would receive a total of 35% of TCOP.
3. Milestone # 2B
25% of TCOP after it is decided to move forward. Milestone 2A is no longer valid.
4. Milestone # 3
35% of TCOP when project is mostly completed other than a few tweaks.
5. Milestone # 4
15% of TCOP when web site is transferred to my server and minor updates and tweaks are completed.

I also wanted to add that there is no deadline with my projects but we can shoot for 60 days. I do not like to rush developers.
