Enhance VSCode for RTL Language Support

I need an experienced developer to add support for Right-To-Left (RTL) languages, like Arabic and Farsi, to the VSCode editor. Your main focus will be on text rendering, code formatting, and cursor control, ensuring that the editor can handle RTL scripts and text direction properly. The editor should also handle the cursor movement, text alignment, selection, multi cursors, etc, to be right-to-left. Key requirements: - Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - Prior experience contributing to VSCode or a similar IDE - Understanding of RTL language characteristics Project requirements: - Your work will need to ensure compatibility with all standard VSCode functionalities to have a right-to-left direction and right alignment. - RTL support should include the main editor as well as the diff view and source control view. - RTL support should cover all the functionality of the editor like cursor movement, selections, multi cursors, etc. - RTL support should work well whether controlling the cursor through keyboard or mouse. - The editor should also be able to view mixed documents, i.e. documents with parts of it displayed right-to-left and others displayed left-to-right. - Determining text direction should be auto detected based on the first character in the line. - The editor should respect the RTL mark and LTR mark unicode characters when determining text direction. - When the first character of the document is an RTL character (or the RTL mark), the document is considered RTL, which means the vertical scroll bar and code map goes to the left side and the horizontal scroll bar is flipped. - Code implementation should be clean with no hacks, so we can upstream the changes to VSCode's main repo.
