Following situation: there is an existing simple php-script. the php script is reading data from a mssql server via odbc. the server has as operation system debian. the php-cli is used to run the php-script. the php script is writing a csv file. In the database are czech characters for example: Strážovice in the csv-files i get allways: Strá?ovice i think there is something with encoding, but i didnt know how to solve the encoding stuff. i tried a lot with iconv and mb_convert_encoding. i think the issue is, because the csv is not utf8... the job is to do remote on our system.
