From 2012 onward, I transitioned to working with MySQL, gaining extensive experience with versions ranging from 5.0 to the latest. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL. In recent years, I have expanded my expertise to cloud databases, managing and overseeing databases hosted on AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Beyond my DBA responsibilities, I have also served as a Data Architect, where I designed customized data warehouses using MySQL to support the company's data analytics platform. This included implementing tokenization techniques to secure PII data. During this time, I developed proficiency in Python scripting, adding to my prior experience with Bash scripting for creating database events. In the last few years, I was entrusted with leading the data department as its head, managing a team of over 20 professionals, including DBAs and data scientists. In this role, I spearheaded the development of data- and AI/ML-focused conceptual products. Furthermore, I contributed as a core member to compliance projects such as PCI DSS, ISO, CMMI, and GDPR (though the latter is still incomplete). Throughout my 13+ years of professional experience, I have worked in the fintech and telecommunications industries, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
