I'm looking to create a modern and trendy WordPress site for service booking. The site will have the following key features:
- Online customer and provider registration: Both customers and service providers should be able to register on the site.
- Appointment scheduling: Service providers will input/edit/remove their available schedules, and customers will book/cancel appointments accordingly.
- Appointment number: A unique appointment number will be generated that will be in the format of <first two letter of provider> + <first two letter of customer> + <yymmddHHMM for the appointment date and time confirmed> + <Serial No starting from 1 in the format of 9999 - this serial number resets daily>, example: JOEM24091215450002 is for John, Emily, 09/12/24, 3:45PM, 2nd appointment of the day.
- Email notifications: The site should send out various email notifications, including appointment confirmations, reminder emails, and updates from providers.
- Site will have option to reset passwords for customers and providers
Ideal candidates for this project should have substantial experience in WordPress development, particularly with building service booking platforms. Familiarity with creating modern, trendy, and user-friendly design layouts is essential. Skills in implementing robust and reliable email notification systems are a must. The goal is to create a seamless and efficient service booking experience for all users.
