I'm in need of a freelancer with specialist skills in Excel VBA (or Excel Macro) and Excel Power Query. The goal is to fully automate a resource planning functionality in Excel.
Key Requirements:
- Automation of WBS structures in the summary page to manage start and end dates of projects, as well as the minimum and maximum dates based on WBS levels
- Calculation of minimum and maximum utilization over a specified time period
- Automation of reporting features to generate weekly or monthly summaries of project statuses and resource utilization
I have an existing semi-automated template, but I need someone to fully automate it and streamline the Excel file, making it less bloated.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficient in Excel VBA and Excel Power Query
- Experience with resource planning in Excel
- Ability to simplify and streamline complex Excel files
Please note, the automation needs to handle:
- Date handling for both start and end dates
- Utilization / Workload calculation based on weightage of 2 sub-teams (Team1 for 1 task and Team 2 for another task, where there could be some overlaps too potentially)
The intervals for start and end dates are dependency-based. This means the freelancer needs to understand and manage various types of dependency relationships, which may include Finish-to-Start, Start-to-Start, and Finish-to-Finish.
