As I build my house in the UK, I'm in need of an expert lighting designer. The project involves creating a lighting scheme for the whole house (270 Sqm), interior and exterior. 1 Open plan kitchen/living/dining area, 1 living room, 2 private rooms, 2 utility rooms, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms.
Key requirements:
- Create ambient lighting plan for whole house
- Task lighting for the cooking and preparation areas in the kitchen.
- Task lighting for bathrooms and utility areas
- Design warm and cozy lighting for bedrooms and private rooms
- Minimise use of downlighters
- Indirect lighting preferred
- Don't spec specific lighting fittings, only type, colour temp, direction, etc.
Ideal candidates:
- Proven experience in residential lighting design
- Ability to understand and translate client’s ambiance preferences into practical design
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solutions
- Familiarity with UK building and electrical standards.
The design can utilize BG Nexus Screwless Flat plate and grid system. The project should be completed within 1-2 months. The designer should conduct milestone reviews to gather feedback and adjust the design accordingly.
