I'm in need of a proficient engineer with a robust background in robotics, specifically for industrial use. The project involves creating an electronic control system for an industrial robot. This control system should be able to manage:
- Electronic Systems: Design and implement the electronic systems that will control the robot.
- Motor Control: Develop a reliable motor control system to operate BLDC and Stepper motors.
- Sensor Measurement: Incorporate a sophisticated sensor measurement system for quality inspection and ensuring the robot operates within its designated parameters.
- User Interface: Create an intuitive user interface for monitoring and controlling the robot.
- Testing: Carry out rigorous testing to ensure the control system operates seamlessly.
- Incorporate a data logging system that records operational data for performance analysis and future improvements.
- Establish safety protocols to ensure the robot operates safely in close proximity to humans and surroundings
The ideal candidate should have:
-Proficiency in C and Python.
Expertise in embedded programming.
Experience with electronic sensors, actuators, pumps, and motors.
Understanding of electrical interfaces and firmware development.
Knowledge of PCB assemblies.
Experience working with robotic and autonomous systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
The control system should be programmed in C/C++, Python, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Texas Instruments, NXP and similar microcontrollers.
