Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quick transcriber and translator to convert YouTube video audio in English into text and then translate it into Spanish using translation tools. The ideal candidate must ensure accuracy and consistency of the content at both stages of the process.
8 transcriptions/translations of videos are needed per month.
Required Skills:
Transcription Skills:
Basic English Comprehension:
Ability to understand enough of the language to identify key words and phrases in the audio.
Speed and Accuracy in Writing:
Ability to write quickly with high spelling and grammatical accuracy.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to capture and reflect subtle details of the audio, including tones and emotions.
Translation Skills:
Use of Translation Tools:
Ability to use transcription tools like YouTube Summary and translation tools like ChatGPT to accurately translate texts from English to Spanish.
Reviewing and correcting the generated translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Basic English Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of English to verify the basic coherence of the translations made by the tools.
Accuracy and Clarity:
Ability to ensure that translations are accurate, maintaining text coherence and fluency.

Time Management:
Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver quality work.
Efficient time management and organization skills.
Good Organization:
Ability to keep files and projects organized, properly tagging and documenting each transcription and translation.
Ability to Focus:
Ability to maintain concentration for long periods to avoid errors and maintain consistency in transcription and translation.
Responsibilities:
Transcribe audio from YouTube videos in English to text accurately and quickly using tools like YouTube Summary.
Use translation tools like ChatGPT to translate the transcriptions into Spanish.
Review and correct the generated translations to ensure high quality.
Deliver transcriptions and translations in neatly organized documents.
Meet established deadlines for project delivery.
