I am looking for a 3D printable model designer for long-term part time future work. You will be working as a team of five designers. We design replicas, especially small buildings for blind people. We create buildings for schools and for blind individuals to help them better understand the world around us, especially things which are too big, too small, or too dangerous to touch.
This is a test project to determine suitability for future projects for the long term. Please only apply if the price you are quoting for this project is similar to what you can offer for similar future designs.
I need the price you would do similar work for on the long run.
Your first job:
Create a 3d miniature copy of the Belle Meade Mansion from Tennessee.
Only the mansion, not the surrounding buildings.
Make sure that the base fits into a 10x10 CM area, which will amount to an approximately 1:380 scale.
This building will serve as a model for blind students, it is important that details can be easily felt, while the building is also visually attractive.
It will be printed from PLA on a Bambu P1P 3D printer. Only those models will be accepted which print out without a problem.
You will have to use internet resources like Google Maps, Google Earth, YouTube, archives and other site photos to assemble the building yourself.
At the end you will be asked to add text and a compass to the bottom of the building, very standard, I will provide samples and instructions.
In the attachments, you can find two examples of miniature buildings we have created, I am looking for a similar approach and quality. Also attached is a picture of the Mansion.
Deliverables:
o An STL file, 0.2 layer height, ready for 3D printing.
o A 3MF file, optimized for the Bambu P1P printer, general PLA, error free slicing.
For future work, you will have to use Bambu Studio to verify your work.
I will use a Bambu P1P printer to print out the final result before payment is made.
