Async/Await Expert for Quasar/Vue App

I'm looking for a professional with deep understanding of async and await in a Quasar/Vue application. The key task involves:

- Data Fetching: Primarily, I need assistance with fetching user data from an API. This is a critical function of the application.

- Data Transformation: Once the data is fetched, some manipulation and transformation will be necessary. This includes filtering, sorting, and structuring data to meet the app's requirements.

I have a url that pulls data from PubMed as an XML and my code then sends the data to a parsing function. In the parsing function it needs to send the address to a geo coding API and take the returning lat and lng data put it into a object. All of the code works fine EXCEPT that the await that calls the geo coding function does not wait. I need clean code to use the data. NO BS with set timeouts and no loops until the data is returned. Only clean and professional Quasar/ vue/ JavaScript code.

Function 1 calls a PubMed function. The data that is returned is passed to function 2. When the data gets to the Authors data it sends the affiliation address to a geocode API. Puts it into the object and then goes to the next article
