Hey guys, We are currently exploring ideas for a simple 3D cute little insect for an animated story. We’ve created the illustration for this and we’re ready to make the 3D mock-up for the character. This is the first steps for this so it’s preliminary work basically, testing, etc. Details; Housefly like body (legs, abdomen) detail is smooth (very toy-like)... the eyes and head are the cutesy part that needs love, body is secondary because it will be covered up by another element. Once you see illustration, you’ll know what we’re hoping to achieve. I use cinema 4d and I’d like the final file in that if possible. But I know you can save an FBX file with .mtl file so I’m open. Background: I’m a creative director and a vfx artist that creates animation and storytelling content for museums and exhibitions. This project is a personal one that I’ve been dying to start :) i’ve been in the creative industry for 20 years so I can be very clear in what I need, create additional mockups to help you with your production, quick styleframes, etc. Thanks!!
