I had the privilege of interning with Tigde Law Firm, where I interned as a legal researcher. I sharpened my legal research skills by engaging in tasks such as researching relevant laws, providing analysis of case laws, and providing articles on various legal matters. This provided me with an understanding of the practical difficulties and constraints in this field. In my second internship with DuxLegis Attorneys, I worked in the trademark department. During my internship, I was exposed to the dynamic world of trademark law, where I drafted a Notice of Opposition, provided trademark watch services, conducted trademark availability searches, and reviewed the Mediation Act of 2023 for its impact on IP dispute resolution. Additionally, I researched trademark refusal case laws, studied plant varieties and geographical indications, and also authored three articles for the firm, one unpublished and two published.
1. "The Taylor Swift Era in Intellectual Property Rights" (unpublished)
2. "Complexity of Enforcing IP Rights in Foreign Countries" (published)
3. "Protecting brand identity in India with series and collective marks." (published)
I would like to offer my services, and I believe I would be an asset as I have an academic as well as practical background in this area.
