I am seeking an experienced firmware engineer to develop custom firmware for my large FDM 3D printer. The firmware should incorporate specific functionalities that enhance the printer's capabilities.
Key Requirements:
- Development of custom movement algorithms to improve print precision and speed.
- Implementation of enhanced calibration options for superior print quality.
Additionally, the firmware must be compatible with PrusaSlicer, a specific 3D printing software I utilize.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in firmware development, particularly for 3D printers.
- Experience with FDM technology.
- Familiarity with PrusaSlicer.
- Strong understanding of movement algorithms and calibration processes in 3D printing.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, reliable firmware.
Currently the printer has SKR pro 1.1 control board running Marlin, but this can be changed to suit.
Klipper is what we have in mind but we are open to anything that will work with out needs.
