You’ll have creative control to build a personal brand for the company’s owner while telling engaging stories and growing a loyal online community. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a big impact in a start-up environment.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Design, plan, and implement a cohesive social media strategy across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat).
Create engaging, creative, and consistent content (short-form videos, posts, graphics) tailored to each platform.
Write compelling video scripts and provide creative direction for content creation.
Edit video content into high-quality, engaging formats optimized for short-form platforms.
Develop storytelling campaigns that align with the company’s mission and brand.
Monitor trends and algorithms to ensure content reaches the widest and most engaged audience.
Grow and engage followers across platforms from a zero base to an active community.
Use scheduling tools to ensure posts are timed optimally for each platform.
Lead Generation
Develop and execute strategies to generate 5 pre-qualified energy switch appointments per day (up to 25 per week) through social media and other innovative methods.
Maintain consistent lead flow by identifying and targeting potential customers across multiple platforms.
Recruit 1 highly motivated team member per week by leveraging social media and outreach campaigns.
Create and manage lead magnets (e.g., free downloads) to attract, nurture, and convert leads into appointments.
Collaboration & Planning
Collaborate with the business owner via regular WhatsApp meetings to discuss content needs and performance.
Align social media campaigns with local and national events and promotions.
Provide actionable insights by monitoring traffic, engagement, and the success of posts, adapting strategies as needed.
Additional Skills (Bonus)
Website editing and management.
Knowledge of paid and organic Facebook advertising campaigns.
