## Project Overview Working on a social travel app focused on discovery, planning, and connecting travelers. We're seeking a UI/UX designer to establish our design system and create key screens following iOS design principles and best practices. While we're not building a native iOS app, we want to embrace Apple's approach to clean, intuitive design. ## Design Philosophy - Follow iOS design principles (hierarchy, clarity, depth) - Clean, modern interface with focus on usability - Prioritize intuitive navigation and clear visual hierarchy - Embrace whitespace and thoughtful typography ## Initial Phase Scope - Design system creation - 3 key screen designs - Figma source files - Initial component library ## Reference Materials Provided - Mockups for inspiration and general direction - List of key features and requirements Note: These materials serve as a starting point. We welcome your expertise and suggestions for improvements in information architecture, component design, and user experience. ## Required Deliverables ### 1. Design System - Color palette (open to recommendations, should follow iOS color principles) - Typography system (suggestions: Inter, Plus Jakarta Sans, or your recommendation) - Layout guidelines following iOS spacing principles - Icon recommendations (considering both aesthetics and availability) - Component states and interactions - Light mode specifications ### 2. Key Screens #### A. Home Screen Core requirements from Mockups: - Navigation bar with location/weather - Search functionality - Today's highlights/events section - Nearby events section - Bottom navigation Open to suggestions on: - Content card layouts - Information hierarchy - Additional useful components - Interaction patterns #### B. Trip Planning Screen Core requirements from Mockups: - Timeline/agenda view - Weather integration - Group collaboration elements - Status indicators Welcome input on: - Data visualization methods - Collaboration UI patterns - Interactive elements - Information organization #### C. Place Detail Screen Core requirements from Mockups: - Photo display - Key information layout - Action buttons - Basic review/rating display Open to suggestions on: - Content organization - Interactive elements - Additional useful information display - Engagement features ### 3.
