Part-Time Social Media Manager Location: Remote (Must be available to work during Australian business hours) Rate: Up to $15/hr | 10-15 hours per week About Us: We are a personal brand looking for a dedicated Social Media Manager with 3-5 years of experience to help manage and grow our presence across multiple platforms. You’ll be working with a founder whose content is focused on personal branding and entrepreneurship, with most posts featuring talking head videos and simple graphics. Job Responsibilities: All copy will be provided to you. As will most of the creative, your job is to put it all together and post it out. Coordinate weekly with our graphic designer and video editor to ensure all content is edited and designed per the provided copy and visuals. Use Canva to create basic graphics for posts when needed. Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook (Personal and Page), TikTok, and LinkedIn using Metricool (or similar). Ensure consistent repurposing of content across platforms (e.g., Instagram content shared to Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Conduct basic hashtag research (training provided) to optimize posts for reach and engagement. Provide detailed weekly reports with platform analytics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and content performance insights. Posting Schedule: Instagram: 1 carousel, 1 reel, and 1 podcast video edit per day Instagram Stories: Daily Facebook (Personal & Page): Same content as Instagram TikTok: 1 reel and 1 podcast video edit per day LinkedIn: 1 post per day Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in social media management. Basic Canva design skills. Ability to work during Australian business hours. Strong communication skills for collaborating with a graphic designer and video editor. Familiarity with Metricool (or similar scheduling tools). A good eye for detail, with the ability to follow the provided copy and content instructions. Nice to Have (But Not Required): Experience with personal brands. Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn analytics. Canva - 8/10 - Zoho Social - 8/10 - Metricool - not very familiar with this but I am a quick learner and can grasp things quickly. Though it's the solid plan and quality posts that we put out on social to grow followers and target audience engagement regardless of platform we use. 3. Researching Hashtags - by seeing viral posts and competitor posts to find out what's working for them and then use it similarly for our posts. It's best to combine both viral hashtags with more SV and low SV hashtags for better presence. 4. Yes, always! - I will create a content calendar in advance and effectively coordinate with the creative team and give them instructions and content of how I want the posts to be like.
