We are a proprietary trading firm and stock broker looking for quantitative/strategy developers and researchers. The job involves doing research work and developing trading systems in Python and improving on the existing ones. Also helping to identify where there is an edge in the market that may have not been explored or analyzed. Responsibilities: 1. Create low to mid frequency quantitative strategies on both short and longer time frames 2. Back test and forward test strategies on historical data 3. Preprocess raw data and maintain/upgrade existing databases 4. Write code to maintain and improve existing trading strategies and execution systems 5. Research on novel ideas and strategies 6. Collaborate with trade execution teams to refine and implement strategies. 7. Optimize trading algorithms to reduce latency and improve execution. 8. Generate and test trading signals based on quantitative research. 9. Develop tools and systems for effective risk management and compliance. Eligibility: - Computer science background - Proficiency in Python with prior experience in algorithmic trading related tasks like database management, back testing, design and development of trading infrastructure. - A basic understanding of technical analysis and option trading concepts - Prior trading experience is preferred If you are interested, [Removed by Freelancer.com] We require candidates with mid-level or experienced backgrounds in computer science, data handling, and trading systems.
