I believe n8n, with its open-source workflow automation capabilities, would better suit our needs. Objective: To develop an automated system that generates and delivers personalized horoscopes to users based on their subscription preferences and chosen language, using n8n as the workflow automation tool. Scope of Work: 1. User Subscription Validation: o Task: Implement a mechanism to verify if a user's subscription is active and determine the services they have paid for (written horoscope, audio horoscope, or both). o Deliverable: A reliable subscription validation module within n8n. 2. Language Detection and Handling: o Task: Retrieve the preferred language of each user for horoscope delivery. o Deliverable: Integration that ensures all subsequent processes (prompt generation, communication) are conducted in the user's chosen language. 3. Horoscope Generation with ChatGPT: o Task: Automate the process of sending user-specific data to ChatGPT with a prompt crafted in the user's preferred language to generate personalized horoscopes. o Deliverable: An n8n workflow node that interacts with the ChatGPT API to receive and process horoscope content. 4. Audio Conversion with ElevenLabs (for users who opted for audio service): o Task: If the user has subscribed to the audio service, convert the generated horoscope text into speech using ElevenLabs API. o Deliverable: An automated process that sends text to ElevenLabs, retrieves the MP3 file, and prepares it for delivery. 5. Email Delivery System: o Task: Send the horoscope (text and/or audio) to the user via email, ensuring the content is embedded or attached appropriately. o Deliverable: An email delivery workflow that personalizes emails based on user preferences and includes the necessary content. Technical Considerations: • Data Security and Privacy: o Ensure all user data is handled securely, complying with GDPR and other relevant regulations. o Implement encryption for data in transit and at rest where necessary. • Error Handling and Notifications: o Develop robust error handling within n8n workflows to catch and log failures. o Set up notifications or alerts for any failed processes to allow for timely intervention. • Scalability and Optimization: o Optimize workflows for efficiency to handle increasing user loads. o Consider asynchronous processing where appropriate to improve performance. Potential Challenges: • API Rate Limits and Costs: o Managing the usage limits of APIs (ChatGPT, ElevenLabs) to prevent service disruptions. o Monitoring and optimizing costs associated with API calls. • Email Deliverability: o Avoiding spam filters to ensure high email deliverability rates. o Personalizing emails without compromising on compliance with email regulations. User data will be sourced from the wordpress database but a webhook is already implemented to manage the data in Airtable for example.
