Summary: C&P from Pages to target format in lyx, preserving/configuring the images floats. Extracting the images from pages. Background We have a document created in Mac Pages that contains approximately 18,500 words in german language and around 80 embedded [login to view URL] content must be transferred into an already finished LYX document while maintaining the formatting (Header 1-4, bold, italics, ..., lists), flow, and structure, including the preservation of images (Flow, left,right), table of contents (TOC), and general setup. The Lyx document is already preconfigured with TOC and stylings for most cases. Project Requirements The freelancer will need to: Transfer text and images from the Mac Pages document into the provided LYX document. Ensure the formatting and layout (including TOC and other document structures) are preserved. Adjust image placement where necessary to maintain visual flow and consistency. Technical Requirements The freelancer must have: Access to and proficiency with Mac Pages. Experience working with LYX (open-source document processor). Knowledge of transferring and formatting content between these two applications. Deliverables and Acceptance Criteria A complete and polished LYX document that mirrors and excels the content and design of the original Mac Pages file. Validation that all images and text are correctly placed and formatted. The final LYX document should be ready for use without further adjustments. Interested freelancers are requested to submit: A brief introduction and relevant experience working with Mac Pages and LYX or examples of similar work or references. A proposed timeline for completion. Selection Criteria - Proposals will be evaluated based on: Relevant experience and expertise. Quality of previous work.
