I’m seeking an experienced interior designer specializing in designing villas in Sicily for a new construction project. The project requires a keen understanding of luxury and comfort, as well as the ability to create inviting, aesthetically pleasing spaces that will appeal to our guests. Key Areas for Design: - Guest Rooms: Each room should offer a unique, yet cohesive design that embodies the charm of Sicily, while catering to the expectations of high-end visitors. - Lobby/Reception Area: The main entrance of the villa must be welcoming, impressive and reflective of the brand's identity. - Dining Area: This space should be designed to offer an intimate yet luxurious dining experience. - Able to include decorative elements with a Sicilian theme. - Source and incorporate authentic Sicilian materials, such as ceramic tiles from Caltagirone,, wrought iron, and local artisanal crafts. - Continuously explore and study Sicilian architecture, history, and traditions to integrate authentic touches into designs. Ideal Candidate: - Proven experience in interior design within the hospitality sector. - Strong portfolio of previous work, particularly with villas or similar properties. - Exceptional understanding of luxury design elements. - Ability to work within a set budget and timeline. - A passion for Italian and Sicilian heritage. - Excellent communication skills for regular updates and discussions. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing cultural or Sicilian-inspired projects.
