We operate an existing website offering vaccinations for travel, wellbeing, and weight loss. Currently, customers book appointments using BookingPress, a WordPress plugin that supports API connections, including integrations via Zapier. However, many customers book incorrect vaccinations or fail to select the correct combination due to insufficient information at the time of booking.
To enhance the user experience and improve booking accuracy, we aim to introduce a GPT-powered chatbot. This chatbot will educate users about appropriate vaccinations based on their travel itineraries and provide streamlined booking management.
Objectives
The chatbot will:
Educate and Inform
Provide personalized vaccination recommendations based on the user's travel destination(s).
Suggest additional vaccinations in line with UK Government travel advice.
Offer pricing information for vaccinations and provide options to add them to bookings.
Streamline Bookings
Allow users to confirm their vaccination choices.
Automatically update bookings using APIs or integrations with BookingPress and Zapier.
Enable users to manage or modify their bookings efficiently.
Enhance Accessibility
Operate primarily through WhatsApp for ease of use.
Interact with customers both pre- and post-booking.
Validate business credentials, provide general advice (e.g., opening hours, vaccination intervals), and initiate sales conversations.
Provide Additional Resources
Offer users links to official resources, such as the UK GOV Fit for Travel website ([login to view URL]).
Address FAQs related to weight loss and general wellbeing.
